What's the Quick Setup User Manual of ZeboraCam?

Quick Setup of ZeboraCam

If you just receive the camera, please follow below step by step:

1.  Download the APP “ ZeboraCam”  in your  cellphone/tablet.
2.  Power on the camera. No Ethernet cable required.
3.  After the camera stop moving, in your smart phone, click “Setings >>Wi-Fi”, click the camera ID“CMxxx” to connect to your Wi-Fi. Wait about 10 sec for your device to change from data to Wi-Fi signal.
4.  Open ZeboraCam, click "Add Camera >> Add Wi-Fi Connected Camera", Click “Search(LAN)” (Recommended) or scan the QR code from the bottom of camera to acquire the camera ID. Input the camera default password 8888, and click “Apply”. Your camera now shows “online” in device list.
5.  In ZeboraCam, click “Settings >> Management >> Wi-Fi Settings”, select your Wi-Fi network from the list and input Wi-Fi password, click “Apply”, the camera will reboot automatically.
6.  Waiting for about 1 minute, the camera is moving and you will hear two beep sound from the camera, which means the Wi-Fi is connected. You are now all set. You can click the CMxx in the device list to view the live video and control by sliding your screen.

 
If you fail the connection or if you already added but didn’t show “Online” or request service and you want to reconnect or any other reasons you want to reconnect, please follow below step by step:
 
1.  Open ZeboraCam on your devices. If you already added camera ID (CMxx) to device list, click the circle which is next to CMxx to delete IP camera.
2.   Reset the camera. (Use the provided Pin or toothpick, stick into the reset button at the bottom of the camera, press and hold about 10 sec until “Ding…”)
3.   After the camera stop moving, in your smart phone, click “Setings >>Wi-Fi”, click the camera ID“CMxxx” to connect to your Wi-Fi. Wait about 10 sec for your device to change from data to Wi-Fi signal.
4.  Open ZeboraCam, click "Add Camera >> Add Wi-Fi Connected Camera". Click “Search (LAN)” or scan the QR code from the bottom of camera to acquire the camera ID. Input the camera default password 8888, then click “Apply”. Your camera now shows “online” in device list.
5.  In ZeboraCam, click “Setting >> Management >> Wi-Fi Settings”, select your Wi-Fi network from the list and input Wi-Fi password, click “Apply”, the camera then will reboot automatically.
6.  Waiting for about 1 minute, the camera is moving and you will hear two beep sound from the camera, which means the Wi-Fi is connected. You are all set now.


I already connected the camera to my cellphone, how can I add the same camera to multiple devices? Please follow below:

1: On your second device, download the App “ZeboraCam”.

How can I set up the camera using a public network?

If the public network requires authorization before you can visit network, then the camera cannot be set up in such network. For example, when your cellphone is connected to the public Wi-Fi, but in order to connect the network, it asks you to login on their official website using an account.For such network, you cannot set up the camera, even you can connect to the Wi-Fi. Your phone has a browser for you to log in the account, but the camera does not have a browser to input such information.  

When Do I Need To FORMAT the Micro SD Card? And When I Don’t Need to FORMAT?

MUST Format Micro SD Card: A. For Brand-new micro SD card, please format before use; B. Any micro SD card, if inserted to the powered on camera; C. The SD card capacity is not detected.
No Format Needed:If SD card is inserted into the camera when the camera is powered off and the capacity of SD card is detected after the camera is powered on.

Can I Record What's Showing on My iPad on the APP for the Camera?

Yes, you can take snapshots and record video files via the APP. You can also view the recorded files in your mobile device or in the camera.

Can This Camera Be Accessed Remotely from Outside of My Network with Proper Port Forwarding?

It will work remotely form outside the network. It supports P2P pairing which is much easier then port forwarding 

How Can I Set up the Night Vision?

Please refer to Settings>>IR-LED Settings to set up. Or you can click the IR light located on the live video

How Can I Set up the Camera Password?

The App will recommend you to change the password for your first time to connect the camera. Otherwise, please go to settings>> Change Camera Password to set up.

Do I have to constantly have my phone connected to the camera in order for the alarms to work? Or do I set it up once and disconnect?

You don't need to connect the phone to the camera all the time, just need to have the app run in the background, you could still receive alarms, but this is only limited to Android cellphone.

I Have Set up the Camera and the Video Works Fine but There is No Sound. How Can I Get This to Work?

Please click the sound button on the video page.Just simply click on the screen of the live video when you open, then all the icons pop up, you can set up the sound, speaker, snapshot,night vision IR, video recording..... 

How can I add the multiple device to the camera?

I already connected the camera to my cellphone,
how can I add the same camera to multiple devices?

How Can I connect the camera to the second device remotely?
Q: After I connect my cellphone with the camera, my husband is out of town, how can he add the camera to his cellphone?

A: After you have the camera connected, you just send the QR Code at the bottom of the camera to your husband, then he just needs to download the Zeboracam app on his cellphone, then click Add camera>>add wifi connected camera>> Scan the QR code to add the camera. Then all set. Remember, the camera password need to be the same of your device (Default 8888); and his cellphone needs to have an internnet as well.



 
What is SD Card Required for Recording? Why I Can’t Use My Micro SD Card for Recording?

The camera supports up to 64 GB micro SD card.YouMust format the SD card following the Format instruction. If a SD card is not recognized when inserted into camera, please remove and insert again.

When Should I Use “Add Online Camera”?

If the camera has been connected to Wi-Fi, you can use “Add Online Camera”. There are two situations to add an online camera to your devices (i.e. Cellphone): One is to add new device to the camera, for example, you have already connected to your cellphone, and your family member want to add the same camera to their cellphones too, then please select “Add Online Camera”; Second, your camera is online, but you delete the APP or delete the camera in the device list.

After Using the Cable Connection, I Unplug the Cable, But the Camera Show Offline?

Please wait about 20 Seconds after you unplug the cable, to allow the camera for self-testing, then it will show online.

Is there any way to make the blinking light go away? I don't need it at night, it is flashing to my baby.
Yes, please go to zeboracam app settings>>management>>light beam settings to turn off the light.
Why I can only view the live video at home, while it shows offline after my cellphone switchs to different wifi?

Because you have not finished wifi configuration. Please follow the step: when you are at home with the camera, log in the zeboracam, check if it shows online in the device list, if yes, then in the app, click settings>>management>>wifi settings>> find your home wifi network and enter the wifi password, then waiting for about one minutes, until you see the camera restart moving and stop, and at the end you hear two sounds "Dong Dong", then you are all set. Now, you can view the live video even if your cellphone is not using your home wifi.

can this app used for android system?

Yes, zeboracam can be used on Android cellphone as well as Iphone.

I don't have a cellphone, can this camera be setup on my laptop or computer?

Absolutely Yes. You can set it up directly on your laptop or computer. It works on PC/windows and Mac as well. Please follow the user manual or our website at download center for the app download.

I already connected my cellphone with the camera, and my husband is in the other country, how can view the live video of my house?

If you already connected the camera to your device, you just need to take a picture of the QR code (bottom of the camera) and send it to your husband. Then he can just download Zeboracam app to his cellphone (ipad,pc,etc), then click on the app,Add camera>>Add wifi-connected camera, scan the QR code, enter the camera password(it is 8888 if you didn't change), click apply. Allset.

Can I view multiple live video on my cellphone at the same time?

Yes. When you open the device list, click the left top panel which can show multiple(Max 4 cameras) live videos at the same time.
